Anchor MSI - Who We Are
Mark Noblett
Mark Noblett was born in Sutton Coldfield. He attended the local grammar school before embarking on a business career.
In 1985, he married Jane and moved to Tamworth, Staffordshire. They have lived here ever since and have two children. When the children were younger, Mark was a governor of their primary school and secretary of his son’s junior football club, which he established himself with a close friend.
Mark started life in manufacturing in the heart of Birmingham, moved through Work Study, and ended up in 1983 in warehousing and distribution. Warehousing became the mainstay of his career, and he worked for both large and small organisations. Mark was running operations, but spent more and more time solving problems and running projects.
Terry Baumber
Born in Birmingham, Terry left school at 16 and entered an apprenticeship as a sheet metal worker at British Leyland. Despite the bad press that accompanied British Leyland and eventually Rover, Terry received an excellent start to his career and won the Apprenticeship of the Year award.
Terry is married with three children - he has one daughter who in Holland and five grandchildren spread between Holland and the UK. That keeps him busy!
Continually looking for new challenges, Terry trained in Work Study and went on to manage the Work Study department, before moving across into Operational Management, where he eventually ended up as Operations Director of a retail manufacturer in Swindon. When this retail business was bought out in 1995, Terry joined Mark in setting up Anchor(msi) with the intention of delivering quality solutions to clients. This was the best move of his career as the challenge and pleasure gained from seeing the successful delivery of each project spurred them on to even bigger success.
Anchor MSI
In 1995, Mark and Terry started Anchor MSI, a small business providing warehouse and manufacturing support. Their Services consisted of design, productivity, flows etc, but mainly change management.
Terry has continued to focus upon improving manufacturing performance and Mark has moved more into Interim Management.
